Dave West - Lead Pastor
Hi, I'm Pastor Dave West, lead pastor for the wonderful people and ministry team of Cross Roads Community Church. My wife of 28 years is Dreama. I am father to Brent and Britney (Wyatt), and Papa Dave to my two grandsons Hayden James and Elijah David and granddaughter Miley Marie.
The Lord has equipped me to become many things: husband, father, grandfather, and shepherd to His people at Cross Roads Community Church and the people in the San Juan County area. As Pastor, I am committed to leading His people in building the Kingdom through solid Biblical application for the whole family, Spirit filled worship services, and prayer and care commanded by our Lord Jesus.
So, when you come to the Cross Roads of your life, remember the name "Cross Roads Community Church" and we'll help you find. . .The Way!
Greetings! My name is Wade Elftman and I am the Youth Pastor at Cross Roads Community Church and ENGAGE Youth Ministry. My beautiful wife Jayme and I have been attending Cross Roads since 2007. We have a new addition to the family, our handsome little boy, Gavin.
I have been working with the CRCC Engage Youth since I moved to Farmington in June, 2007. I rock out with our youth band playing guitar, singing or even playing the drums. I don't do break-dancin' but our teens sure love watching me try.
Before moving to Farmington, I had the privilege of serving the Lord as Youth Pastor at Roswell Central Church of the Nazarene. I attended Southern Nazarene University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Theology Ministry.
My wife Jayme is a teacher at CRCC Acts Christian Academy. She teaches 4th and 5th grades. She is also co-directing our Nursery and MOBs (Mothers of Babies). Jayme loves hanging out with the youth group and supports the youth ministry 100%. Awesome Jayme!
Our lives and ministry are based on Acts 2:17 which says "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all lpeople. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." I believe that no matter at what age, God has called us to do great things for Him - and I am grateful to be a part of that ministry.
ENGAGE Youth Ministry is all about making Christ-like disciples and encouraging the spiritual development of this generation...The Church! Allowing our young people to experience God through fellowship, God's Word, communion, prayer and worship. Discovering their God given gifts and talents and most importantly how to use them. Thanks and God Bless!
Hello! My name is Susan Torres and I am the Outreach Pastor at Cross Roads Community Church. I moved back home to Farmington four years ago after living in Georgia for eighteen years, where I was involved in Children's Ministry since 1992. The last five of those were spent as the full time Children's Pastor at Lighthouse World Outreach Center.
Since being back in Farmington, I have been involved in many ministries at Cross Roads, and was hired on as Outreach Pastor in 2004. I met and married my husband Hector in 2003, and now am blessed to share his four children, and two granddaughters.
Together, Hector and I also serve as Children's Directors. Check out of children's ministry page.
We also serve this community in a number of ways. We began a Sidewalk Sunday School Ministry and minister to children in and around Farmington. We are also very involved in Passion Play International. Hector went to Nicaragua in 2005 as an interpreter for Passion Play International.
Hector is involved in offering free Tae-Kwon-Do lessons at Cross Roads as an Outreach to our community. We also lead Financial Peace University classes. There are many opportunities at Cross Roads to grow spiritually.
Our hearts are kindred together towards people. It is our desire to help bridge the gap between our community and the Church. We love God with all of our hearts, souls, minds and strength. If there is anything we can do to help you, or if you have any questions, please feel free to call on us. We are here for you.
Barbara Hutchison - Church Secretary
Hi, my name is Barbara Hutchison. I have been the church secretary for eight years. I am the wife of Steve, the mother of Vonda Valdez, Mark Hutchison, and Laura Marquez. I am the grandmother of eight beautiful grandchildren who, all but one, live in Farmington and attend this church. My oldest granddaughter (and my great granddaughter) lives in Albuquerque and attends beauty school. Steve and I started attending this church twelve years ago. I had always prayed that God would open the door for me to be more involved with the inner working of a church somewhere, and He graciously provided that eight years ago.
I feel that the position I hold at Cross Roads is not a job but a ministry. Even though many of the tasks I perform are clerical and administrative by deifinition, there are many opportunities for me to minister to those with whom I come in contact each day. I pray that God continues to give me the strength and ability to perform each day so that I may bring glory to Him and Him alone.
A Job or a Ministry?
A job is at your choice;
A ministry is at Christ's call.
In a job you expect to receive;
In a ministry you expect to give.
In a job you give something to get something;
In a ministry you return something that has already been given to you.
A job depends on your ability;
A ministry depends upon your availablity to God.
A job done well brings you praise;
A ministry done well brings God praise.

Hi, I'm Jayme. I've been at CRCC since June, 2007. I'm married to Wade, the Youth Pastor at CRCC. We've been married since 2005. I joined the nursery and MOB team when my son Gavin was born. I also teach 4th and 5th grades at CRCC's Acts Christian Academy. I graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
Greetings. I'm Jenny. I've been at CRCC since 2000. I'm married to Billy and we have two sons, Caden and Logan. I've been a part of the nursery team since my first son was born. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and enjoy every minute.
We love children and love running the church nursery and MOBs group. We believe that we need to begin teaching our children about God's love from the very begining. We offer many programs for mothers during the week. During nursery time we have lessons, snacks and worship with the most amazing kids ever!! Our nursery is for ages 0-4 years old!
